My Story
I am a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting people through life's challenges.
My journey into therapy began with a degree in Psychology and early work in a Community Mental Health Team in Berkshire, UK. After travelling and starting my family, I trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist following a powerful, personal experience with Hypnotherapy myself.
I gained my Certificate (2006), Diploma (2007), and Post-Graduate Practitioner's Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy (2008) from the London College of Hypnosis (LCCH). I have been a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) since 2006, as well as the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) since 2009.
Since then I have continued to expand my skills and knowledge, adding Psychotherapy, Counselling and Somatic (Bodywork) approaches to create a holistic and effective way of working. I am trained in using EMDR and The Rewind Technique for trauma.
Over the years I have run successful therapy practices in Devon, UK and worked with individuals, couples, families and organisations including the emergency services. My work has included providing trauma support for the police, ambulance and fire service personnel. I have also worked with councils, social services and schools in the South West UK.

Many of the challenges people face - such as anxiety, depression, addiction, low self-esteem or relationship struggles - are often linked to unresolved trauma or overwhelming life experiences. My work focuses on helping clients gently process these experiences and reconnect with their own inner resources.
I integrate a range of approaches including:
• Psychotherapy and counselling
• Clinical hypnotherapy
• EMDR and the Rewind Technique for trauma
• Somatic (body-based) therapy
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
• Solution-focused therapy
Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and pace.
I support clients experiencing:
• Trauma, PTSD and complex trauma
• Anxiety and panic attacks
• Depression and emotional overwhelm
• Addictions and compulsive behaviours
• Phobias and fears
• Low confidence and self-esteem
• Relationship challenges
• Grief and life transitions
I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients of all ages, including those navigating ADHD, ADD and autism through pre-diagnosis, diagnosis and beyond. My work also helps with issues around confidence and self-esteem, as well as school-based trauma. I was a college counsellor for ROC College (United Response) for 5 years.
In 2020, I started working online and found that I could open my therapy room to anyone in the World. Working online is just as effectively as it can be n person. Some people prefer it, as they have no travelling time or costs to consider, and are often more comfortable in their own homes. (If you have never worked online, I offer a free consultation to see if this is a good fit for you)
In 2025 I relocated to Cyprus and I am now offering in-person sessions in Paphos.
